Our Commitment
Indigo Foundry, LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We actively work to improve the usability of this site for everyone, regardless of ability or assistive technology used.
We believe accessible design is good design — and that organizations serving the public, particularly nonprofits, civic institutions, and public health agencies, deserve web partners who take this seriously.
Conformance Status
This site targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. WCAG 2.2 AA defines requirements for designers and developers to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
As a recently launched site, we are in active pursuit of this standard rather than claiming full conformance. We conduct regular self-evaluations using automated tools and manual testing, and we address identified issues as a priority.
WCAG 2.2 AA also forms the technical foundation for compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, the federal law requiring that electronic and information technology developed, procured, maintained, or used by the federal government be accessible to people with disabilities. Organizations working with federal agencies, receiving federal funding, or operating under federal contractor requirements will recognize this standard as the basis for their 508 obligations. Building to WCAG 2.2 AA means building to meet those requirements.
Measures We Take
Indigo Foundry takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of this site and the work we deliver to clients:
Proper use of landmarks, headings, and native HTML elements to support screen readers and keyboard navigation.
All interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard, with visible focus indicators throughout.
Text and UI elements meet or exceed WCAG 2.2 AA contrast ratio requirements across both light and dark contexts.
A skip link is provided at the top of each page to allow keyboard users to bypass repeated navigation.
We test with automated tools including Lighthouse and WAVE, and supplement with manual review.
Content is usable across a range of devices, screen sizes, and zoom levels up to 400% without loss of functionality.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of this site may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA. We document known gaps here transparently, and are actively working to resolve them:
Third-party embeds (such as scheduling tools or forms) may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control. We evaluate and select third-party tools with accessibility in mind, and provide alternatives where possible.
If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please let us know — user feedback is how we find and fix gaps we've missed.
Technical Approach
This site relies on the following technologies for its accessibility implementation:
We test across current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on both desktop and mobile. Screen reader testing is conducted using NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS and iOS.
